Help & FAQ

Quick answers to common questions. Still stuck? Email support@kado-bot.com and we’ll help.

Getting started

How do I sign up?
Go to Get Started, log in with Discord, name your agency, and start your $99/mo plan. After payment you’ll add the bot to your Discord and run /setup — about two minutes total.
How do I add the bot to my Discord server?
Right after payment, the welcome screen has an Add Kado Bot to Discord button. You’ll need the Manage Server permission on the server you add it to.
What does /setup do?
It connects your Discord server to your agency and lets you pick your leaderboard, deals, and goals channels. Run it once, after you’ve paid and added the bot.
What permissions does the bot need?
In the channels you choose, the bot needs View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Manage Webhooks (the last one powers your white-label branding on posts).
Do I need to import my old data?
No — it’s optional. Most agencies start fresh and the leaderboard fills up fast as the team logs deals. If you already track deals in a spreadsheet, copy-paste them on Admin → Import. If your old tool won’t let you export, email support@kado-bot.com and we’ll move it over for you.

Using Kado Bot

How do agents log deals?
Agents run /deal in Discord (or submit on the website). The first time someone logs a deal they’re automatically added to your roster — no manual setup.
How do I view the leaderboard?
Run /leaderboard in Discord and pick a period (Today, This Week, This Month, This Year, All Time). Your full live board is also on the web at your-slug.kado-bot.com, and there’s a full-screen TV mode for the office.
How do I set goals?
Use /goal in Discord or the Goals page on the website. You’ll get progress updates and an automatic recap when a goal period ends.
How do I manage agents and the org chart?
Open the Admin console on the website — you can view your roster, set the upline/downline org tree, and manage admin roles.

Branding (white-label)

How do I add my logo, colors, and bot name?
Go to Admin → Settings on the website. Drag-and-drop your logo, set your accent color, and name the bot. Every deal/leaderboard post and your web board then use your brand.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes — in Admin → Settings you can add a custom domain (one DNS record at your registrar; SSL is automatic). Every agency also gets a free your-slug.kado-bot.com address with zero setup.

Billing & plans

How much does it cost?
A flat $99/month per agency with unlimited agents — the Discord bot, your public board and TV mode included, no per-seat fees.
How do I update my card or cancel?
Open Admin → Billing and manage everything in the Stripe portal. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
What happens if a payment fails?
You get a short grace period to update your card (the bot keeps running). If it isn’t resolved, the service pauses until payment is fixed.
Do you offer refunds?
Payments are generally non-refundable for partial months — see our Terms of Service for details.

Troubleshooting

I deleted or recreated my Discord server — how do I reconnect?
Re-invite the bot to your new server, then run /setup again. It detects that your agency’s old server is gone and reconnects it automatically — no need to contact support.
The bot isn’t posting deals.
Check that the bot can post in your chosen channel (it needs View Channel + Send Messages there). If you changed channels, re-run /setup to update them.
/setup says it can’t find my agency.
Make sure you’re logged into Discord with the same account that created and paid for the agency on the website, and that your payment has gone through (it can take a few seconds).
My web board isn’t loading.
Confirm your subscription is active in Admin → Billing — boards only show for active agencies.
